The Volvo Ocean Race is the longest, toughest, and most challenging sailing race of all. In June 2018, this legendary race ends for the first time in history in The Netherlands. After sailing 45.000 nautical miles, The Hague is the ultimate destination and it promises to be an unforgettable sport moment with the best finish ever.

Audience of millions
The Volvo Ocean Race is an international elite sport event. Millions of worldwide fans follow the extreme adventures of the sailors. From Sunday 24 June until Sunday 1 July 2018 The Hague is the epicenter of the international sailing world whereby the last points will be given. During this week, the organisation expects a 400.000 people crowd. Based on the Volvo Ocean Race pitstop in 2015, The Hague reached 125.000 visitors only within 2.5 days.

The Volvo Ocean Race Finish The Hague 2018 is a party for all ages. The entrance is free and besides the big amount of Volvo Ocean Race experiences, we also offer concerts, kite surf, wind surf, and surf events and social meetings such as a sustainability congress about the future and the power of our oceans. Because the historical moment of the finish of the Volvo Ocean Race, the organisation creates within the harbours of Scheveningen, an adventurous and maritime atmosphere.
